We Provide Care
Blackdown offers a warm and friendly home-from-home atmosphere with first class services. The accommodation and the environment are laid out with specific attention to the needs of senior citizens.
The home provides comfortable, bright and spacious accommodation set on two floors and served with a passenger lift enabling wheel chairs to be easily used all around the home. On the ground floor we have three communal rooms where a wide range of activities are carried out. Residents are encouraged to spend their days socializing and partaking to the events.
We strive to provide the best possible experience for our clients and limit the stress of moving into an unfamiliar environment as much as possible. To this avail we encourage our clients to decorate their rooms by bring in their own personal effects, such as furniture and picture frames, we believe this helps them feel really at home. All rooms are fitted with a Nurse Call System and profile beds.
We have a large garden that extends in front of the home with a summer house and our residents are encouraged to enjoy their beautiful surroundings.
